St' Jerome's Laneway Festival 2014 was awesome!

I cant believe Im actually part of an awesome crowd in an awesome gig. This is the best concert experince by far. It beats Paramore's crowd (Singaporeans). Me and my broski Kaiser Burkhart went there on time... or maybe earlier to make sure we get the best spot to sit down which is why I love going to festivals is that you can enjoy music while chilling out with drink and food, dancing with strangers and just blast the demons inside yourself. So the first two acts were Vance Joy and Youth Lagoon. Two musicians I dont give a fuck at first but after seeing them live I had to change my mind that I really give a damn fucking fuck about them!!! While enjoying the music, friends were made along the way. Again this is also why I love to go to gigs we get connected with people with common interests. Our first "Most wanted to see" act was Frightened Rabbit. I told Kaiser about them. At first he's like okay its cool man, they sound good. Its almost like he's saying that out of courtesy. But I did change his mind after Frightened Rabbit started playing. To me, that is the begining of the crowd going wild. I didnt knew that Singaporeans listens to Frightened Rabbit too because from what I know, most of them likes to listen to the mainstream lol. The crowd was soooo into it for Frightened Rabbits and it was awesome!!!! RAD!!!!! ouh and dont forget before that Kurt Vile, that funny cool mother fucker is awesome too. Then we try to take a look at the Cloud Stage. We're not disappointed with our local artist/musicians as they nailed it! Gema and Vendetta for the fucking win! #SINGAPOREANPRIDE. and then we went back to Derrick stage to wait for one of our favorite band Daughter while Savages takes the stage on Roscoe. Savages were freaking scary and awesome at the same time!!!! I love the vocals soooo much. But too bad that Savages and Daughter's were back to back. If not, I would love to join the Savages crowd. Its because Im a huge fan of Daughter and I have to be the the front row. It was worth it. With Daughter finally takes the stage and nailed it. The crowd was super sweet! We're singing along to all of their slow paced songs especially the song Youth. It was sooo chilling. After Daugther we didnt make a move but stayed at the same place at the front row as we wanted to see Chvrches. I mean who doesnt like Lauren Mayberry for god sake?! Even though HAIM is also one of favorite musicians but Chvrches is just unresistable. Dont get me wrong, I love HAIM too. I wish I could date one of the HAIM sisters. That would be awesome if my music career is a success(fingers crossed). Chvrches takes the stage and owned the night!!!!!! People are singing to the tunes and lyrics of their songs especially The Mother We Share. The part when we go OH OH OH OH OH OH OH OH! That was awesome!!! Its like our new anthem! Finally the main event was James Blake a post dubstep artist. I like his music sooo much! His slow paced beats and synths is a perfect way to end of a cool hangover night. Laneway Festival is definitely going to be my annual thing to do now. Cant wait for next year's Laneway!!! Meanwhile, these are some pictures we took :)
